It is our ability to express our thoughts to others and as well as our ability to understand others thoughts
“Heard and to be heard”
- this is the definition of communication.
A person should make others understand his speech and he should understand others speech.

So what makes a good communicator?
A person’s familiarity towards the usage of language and skill to use it in a smart way makes him a good communicator.
A good communicator should be capable of expressing any information in a clear way in the right direction, up to the right degree with proper words.
A good listener should be capable of understanding the heard information in the right way in the right direction, up to the right degree of expression.

What is communication gap?
Misinterpretation of speech or any written information is called as communication gap.

 Improper use of words.
 Improper intonation.
 Unfamiliarity towards language.
 Poor listening.
 Lateral thinking.

 Clarifying the given information if necessary.

How to improve communication skills in a language.
Well, there are number of ways to increase our communication skills.
We can improve it by
 Reading and then explaining in our words.
 Listening to speeches and conversation then trying to mimic it.
 Describing objects, places, and people.
 Instructing a work.
 Locating places.


What is body language?
The unspoken language by our body to reveal our attitude is called as body language. Our posture, gestures, facial expressions, eye contact and the manner we do something have some meanings. The combination of all the above reflects the intention of a person.

Language is verbal form of communication but body language is a nonverbal form of communication that is controlled by our sub conscious mind. So it is difficult or some times impossible to control.
A recent study on body language says that 65% of our communication is carried out by our body language, 28% by our intonation (pause, stress, voice) and only 7% by the spoken words that we spell out. Body language plays a vital role in our day today life while we communicate.
