Creativity is divided into five different categories: fluency, flexibility, redefinition, originality, and elaboration. On this page you will find an explanation of each along with some creative problems for you to try. At the end of this page you will have the opportunity to participate in the Creativity Challenge. The Creativity Challenge will allow you to come up with your own fluency, flexibility, redefinition, originality, or elaboration problem

What is Fluency in Creativity?
The ability to think well and effortlessly in order to generate a quantity of ideas, responses, solutions, or questions.

List all the things you can think of that are blue or have the word “blue” in them. (For example: blueberry, sky)

What is Flexibility in Creativity?
The ability to easily abandon old ways of thinking, adopt new ones, and produce ideas, responses, questions, or solutions in a variety of categories.

What is Redefinition in Creativity?
The ability to give up old interpretations of familiar objects and use them in new improved ways.

What is Originality in Creativity?
The ability to develop ideas that are statistically unusual, novel, or unique.

Design a monument in honor of friendship. Be sure to write down details on how the monument looks and the materials used to make it. Draw a picture of your new
“Friendship Monument” and give it a creative title.

So you may be good in any one of the above said styles. But it is sure you have creativity in you. All you have to do is just identify your core style & develop it by delibrate efforts.
